Kwara PDP governorship candidate denies forging NYSC certificate

Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State, Razak Atunwa, has denied forging his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

He described the allegation by online medium, Premium Times as untrue and unfounded.

The medium had reported that Atunwa had some issues that border on his NYSC certificate.

Atunwa said, contrary to the publication, he did not submit any unsupported NYSC certificate.

He said: “I did not submit any unsupported NYSC certificate as suggested by you (Premium Times). I strongly advise that you verify each and every assertion that you wish to make. You may wish to make formal enquiries/verifications of all institutions concerned.

“You should also be circumspect enough to authenticate the provenance of any document that you may be given, if it’s not from an official source,’ adding that ‘an organisation such as yours should not fall short of the required legal and ethical standards.”
