The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the 2027 Kwara State governorship election, Engr. Suleiman Bolakale Kawu, has officially received Certificate of Return at the PDP National Secretariat in Abuja.

The presentation ceremony was conducted by the National Chairman of the party, Ambassador Abdulrahman Muhammed, in the presence of party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters.

Speaking shortly after, Kawu described the milestone as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by the PDP and the people of Kwara State, while pledging to remain committed to the vision of better future for the state.

“Today, I officially received my Certificate of Return as the PDP candidate for the Kwara State governorship election. This milestone represents the trust of our great party, the support of our people, and a renewed commitment to the journey ahead.

“I am deeply grateful for the confidence placed in me and I remain committed to working with our party, our people, and all stakeholders towards achieving a greater Kwara.

“Together, we move forward with renewed hope, unity, and determination to deliver the progress and development our people deserve,” he stated.

He further expressed appreciation to the party leadership for the transparent process that produced him, assuring that his campaign and political engagements would be anchored on service, inclusiveness, and the aspirations of Kwarans.

The receipt of the Certificate of Return marks a significant step in Engr. Bolakale Kawu’s journey as the PDP standard-bearer for the forthcoming governorship election.
