Two traditional rulers in Lagos State, Oba Rilwanu Akiolu and the Oniru of Iru, Oba Idowu Abiodu have warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his running mate, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat to beware of traitors around them.

Sanwo-Olu was also admonished to shun spirit of betrayal.

The monarchs spoke yesterday when Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat led their team, which include the Director General, Independent Campaign Group (ICG), Mr. Tayo Ayinde and others on a courtesy visit to their palaces.

The traditional rulers advised Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat to reconcile with all aggrieved contestants and their supporters who lost out during the recent APC primaries, particularly Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

Akiolu said every civilian administration in Lagos, from Alhaji Lateef Jakande to Ambode did its best to lift the state to higher heights.

“Your government, if you are elected next year, is not expected to do less.”
