Lagos to host 2017 digital summit

A frontline digital outfit, Mustardels Media, has disclosed a plan to hold the Lagos Digital Summit (LDS) 2017.

The summit is aimed at helping individuals and businesses to harness the constant innovations in a fast-paced digital world.

Organised in collaboration with Expoze Nigeria, a leading Lagos-based digital media firm, the summit will hold on November 23, 2017 at NECA House, Alausa, Ikeja by 10:00 a.m.

Digital communication eggheads, professionals and enthusiasts are expected to participate at the summit for the advancement of society and the enrichment of Nigeria’s burgeoning population.

The summit would focus on how digital media could be better leveraged for growth, as a person, small or large organisation.

According to one of the organisers and partners, Adewale Adetona: “LDS was birthed out of the need for the convergence of great minds and consolidation of great ideas that would shape the country’s digital landscape.

“Nigeria has barely scratched the surface in terms of the possibilities for our country socially and business-wise in terms of digital media.”

Kayode Ogundamisi, a frontline social commentator and host, PolitrickswithKO, would deliver the keynote speech at the conference.

Other speakers and facilitators expected at the summit include DSP Aliyu Giwa, of the Lagos State Police Command, Head of DigiComms, Oyo State government, Babajide Fadoju, Digital Media Analyst, Chidi Okereke, Marketing Manager, SystemSpecs Limited, owners of Remita, Lanre Adelanwa, and Digital Media Lead, VConnect’ Princewill Ejirika.

“This summit would push the frontiers of innovation across various spheres of the Nigerian life, through engaging discourse and empowerment avenues available via digital communication,” Adetona added.

Other speakers and panellists would include digital marketing specialist, Demola Adetona, serial digital media entrepreneur, Ezeudo Obinna a.k.a TweetOracle, OAP Adekeye Tosin, CEO, Media Panache, Timilehin Bello, Creative Director, Dotts Media House, Tiwalola Olanubi, Creative Director, Randomz Digital, Ayowole Obi-Ayowole, and Lead Strategist, ShawttyNatt Media, Bukola Wahab.

Social media enthusiasts, techprenuers, start-ups, MDAs, FinTechs, other corporate bodies and the general public are also expected at the conference.
