The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) says extant law regulating display of signs in and around commercial centres in the state subsists.

Its Managing Director, Mobolaji Saudi, who spoke at a news briefing in Lagos, said: “We have observed the clusters and clustering of signs within multi-tenanted business premises, hence, an urgent need to step up enforcement on our existing policy on proper display of signs in commercial centres in the states.

“The purpose of the policy was to ensure all signs within multi-tenanted business premises observe proper standards as stated in the enabling law without detriment to the surrounding amenities. “
