A Computer Science Student of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), Allen Oluyisola has developed a mobile application that will enable fun-seeking Nigerians spray money at social functions without contravening the law.

Oluyisola, 53, said his passion for Information Technology pushed bee back into school to study computer science.

He said the application, named eSPRAYcash is a solution developer to enable people in parties and events spray money virtually which he said is more safer and secured.

“The app mimic the real live spraying of money in parties and events virtually in a user friendly manner.

“It provides a platform for guest to spray money in parties without violating the CBN ban on Naira spray.

“It enables multi-tasking and presence in more than one events, by auto-spraying features that carries out the function of automatic spraying at the scheduled event time and with the budgeted sum.”

In terms of convenience and how user friendly the app is, the IT Expert said  “from the comfort of your mobile devices you can participate in any party. Using eSPRAYcash discourage criminals targeting the celebrant or guest because is cashless.

“It boost ego of the sprayer more than the physical party because all activities will be seen by all participants in the events, you view other guest spraying level/amount on the displayed progress graded bar. It is an app where everyone can enage in messaging and video chat with one another within the party.

“Intending users download the app, register and create account of events, generate IV and send to guest via SMS, social media with hyperlink to download the app, guest register and setup e wallet (3rd party fintech), fund it and set budget for spraying on d-day, on the d- day, the guest choose any denomination #200 #500 or #1, 000 and tap or flip on the host profile video that may be live or pre recorded. At the end all records of transaction from all participants will be generated and sent to individuals. With history reference to recall” 

Oluyisola  said the app was conceptualised to fill in the gap created by the banning of physical spraying of cash and to introduce innovation into a sector that needed it badly due to social distancing and other vices occasioned by the COVID-19.

He further stated that eSPRAYcash is a social networking app, that allows individuals to follow/friends and block others  in addition to the primary solutions of electronic spraying of cash.
