LEAP Africa appoints Iyadunni Olubode as board member

A non-profit organisation LEAP Africa has announced the appointment of Iyadunni Olubode as a new board member.

Olubode is the Director of Nigeria Programmes, MSD for Mothers. In this role, she collaborates with stakeholders across various sectors to recognise and advance innovative solutions aimed at increasing access to high-quality, respectful maternity care for Nigerian
women.

After leaving the private sector to pursue an interest in the development sector, she served first in LEAP Africa as Executive Director, an experience that will be beneficial in executing her duties as a member of the organisation’s board.

Iyadunni has supported strategic development consulting efforts for multilateral organisations. She will be joining a board of dynamic industry experts and astute leaders, including Country Director, DAI, Dr. Joe Abah; Regional Senior Partner and Chief Executive, KPMG, Tola Adeyemi; Founder, Bellanaija, Uche Pedro and Head, Corporate Business Development, Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, Sadiq Usman; Vice Board Chair, LEAP Africa, Mr Larry Ettah and Board Chair LEAP Africa, Mrs. Claire Omatseye.

Acting Executive Director, LEAP Africa, Kehinde Ayeni said: “We are honoured to welcome our new board member to the LEAP Africa Board of Directors. The diversity of her experience and her unique experience as a former executive director makes a rich blend for us as we strive to achieve our mission across the continent.”
