Legit9ja wins big at PLA 2019

Nigerian entertainment news hub, Legit9ja.com has emerged the best entertainment blog of the year in the just concluded Peace Legend Awards 2019 held last weekend at Oriental Hotel in Lagos.

The sixth edition of the annual awards, Lagos Edition, tagged PLA 2019 awarded and honoured individuals who have shown remarkable impact in their disciplines whilst shaping the entertainment industry.

Having won big this year, Newton Arunaye, Chief Executive Officer of Legit9ja.com expressed joy and satisfaction at having come tops. Legit9ja was shortlisted in the same category with Naijaloaded, Tooxclusive, Notjustok, 9jaflaver and 360nobs.

Speaking with The Guardian, Newton reiterated the need to reshape the nation’s entertainment industry at large. “I feel there is more reason to positively influence the entertainment industry in a way to bring about peace and togetherness amongst our youths via entertainment.”

Promising to keep the pace in promoting fresh acts and talents, he added, “I am honored to keep up the positive work in promoting young talents and circulating good music across board. It is high time we paid better attention to good works.”
