LSHA canvasses implementation of law to tackle environmental challenges

The Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) has insisted on the implementation of the state’s environmental law to tackle challenges that residents are confronted with while urging said residents to comply.
  
This was disclosed at the annual stakeholders’ meeting, which took place in all the 40 constituencies in the state, tagged, Environmental Challenges: Community Engagement to Facilitate Lasting Solution.
  
Speaking during the meeting, House Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa noted that the meeting is an avenue to get suggestions to end lingering threats of environmental challenges. 
 
Representatives of different groups present at the meeting lamented that the incomplete Pen Cinema Bridge, streets lights, insecurity, unemployment, bad roads among others are some of the numerous issues begging for the government’s attention.
 
Responding, Obasa assured that issues raised will be addressed by the government, urging citizens to support the government by protecting the properties and facilities provided.
