Mantrac Nigeria Limited, an authorised dealer of caterpillar products, will today launch ‘Next Generation Cat Excavators’.The new chain of excavators (320GC, 320 and 323), with an enhanced operating efficiency, lower fuel, maintenance costs, and improved operator comfort, will be introduced to the general public at the Oniru Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos.

At a press briefing to herald the launch, the managing director, Ahmed Ragab, said that the company would be making history with the launch, as the novel excavators present unique combination of features expressly designed to match customers’ productivity and cost targets.

The new series boast the industry’s highest level of standard factory-equipped technology to boost productivity. All models come with the famed integrated CAT connect technology for operating efficiency by up to 45 per cent over traditional grading operations,” he explained.He added that the new CAT excavators would offer guidance for depth, slope and horizontal distance.

“With the system’s E-fence feature, the machine is empowered to work safely under structures or near traffic by preventing any part of the excavator from moving outside operator-defined set points. The standard 2D system can be upgraded to CAT grade with advanced 2D or CAT grade with 3D,” he said.
