Masari’s nephew, two operatives die in Katsina convoy accident
Three persons, including two security operatives, lost their lives when the convoy of the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, was involved in an accident, late Friday night.
The accident happened last night near a village called Jimkamshi, while the governor and his entourage were heading to Kafur, his hometown, for the governorship and state House of Assembly elections.
It was gathered that two police officers killed were Kabir Adamu and Nural Safiyanu. The third victim was a nephew to the governor, while three others sustained injuries.
It was gathered that the injured were receiving treatment at hospital, while the bodies of the deceased persons were billed for burial, yesterday.
Police command Spokesperson in the state, Gambo Isah and Director General, New Media to the governor, Al-amin Isah, confirmed the accident.
