Ashafa spoke in Bwari, Abuja, during an interactive session with the Minister of State for Works and Housing, Umar el-Yakubu, who was inspecting the new FHA estate in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

In a statement, he explained that the policy was also to solve accommodation problem and provide meaningful job opportunities for millions of skilled and unskilled citizens.

The FHA boss told the minister that the project, which began in March this year, would be delivered in 48 months. He appealed for moral and financial support from the ministry.

The project consists of 337 units of two and three-bedroom flats (ordinary and terrace) on 54 hectares of land.  Responding, El-Yakubu, who stressed that the President had delivered on infrastructure development nationwide, observed that the move has created numerous employment opportunities for the nation’s teeming youths.

He assured the FHA management of support in its quest of providing housing for all Nigerians.
