An international non-governmental organisation, God’s Citizens Worldwide, has honoured the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Zephaniah Jisalo, for outstanding leadership and excellence in public service and inter-governmental affairs.

The awards were presented to the minister at a ceremony in Abuja, attended by officials of the ministry and members of the organisation.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President and Founder of God’s Citizens Worldwide, Chief. Wisdom Chukwuma Okoye, said the organisation, in addition to its humanitarian outreaches and other projects aimed at improving lives across countries where it operates, had established a track record of identifying and recognising outstanding performance by public servants and individuals.

Okoye said the organisation had presented similar awards in Kenya, Zambia, the United Arab Emirates, the United States and Nigeria.

He explained that the Special Duties Minister was specially being recognized and awarded for outstanding model of leadership which has manifested in an unprecedented administration and coordination of special duties and inter-governmental affairs and outstandingly defined the dividends and potentials of the Renewed Hope Agenda of this administration.

He added that the group would continue to project good works of Nigeria public servants and government to foreign countries and also mobilize support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

He said: “I believe in Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he is not just a leader, he is a builder of men in all states, irrespective of tribe. That is why I have decided to promote him come 2027.”

Okoye also pledged to bring some of his associates to Nigeria to support the administration’s initiatives.

Responding, Jisalo thanked the leadership of God’s Citizens Worldwide for the recognition and pledged to reciprocate the gesture.

He urged Nigerians to support the Tinubu administration, stating that the President has good intentions for the country, adding that, “I will make sure this NGO gets national recognition, as they have honoured me today.”
