General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries Worldwide, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, has warned Christians against the danger of giving the devil the opportunity to come into their lives.
 
Muoka gave the warning on Saturday during a two-day programme titled ‘From Sorrow To Joy’, held at the church’s headquarters in Ijesha, Lagos.
 
The pastor took his text from Esther 9:22, John 16:20, and Acts 8:5, explaining that many people are sorrowful today as a result of the negative influence of evil spirit, the devil, demons and their human agents, including sin.
 
Lamenting the havoc evil spirits and the devil had subjected their victims, Muoka said they are responsible for all the torments, oppressions, afflictions, diseases, hardship, barrenness and unaccountable problems experienced in homes and other areas of life.

He said the good thing is that God has made adequate provision through Jesus Christ to rescue every man and woman from sorrow and to make them enjoy the abundant blessings of God.

Describing sorrow as a terrible thing, the cleric noted that it comes with mockery, weakness, discouragement, and can even lead people to lose their lives.

He cited Elijah, who at a point in his life was discouraged because Jezebel threatened to kill him. He also gave the example of Esau, who sold his birthright because he was hungry.
