Leading Nigerian music executive, Chukwudebelu Elochukwu Samuel, Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Auxell Musical Equipment has underscored the need for excellence in the quality of Nigerian sound production to help Nigerian music pop culture to consolidate its global dominance.

The music gear mogul has played a pivotal role in influencing Nigerian production standards with his brand since its inception in 2013. Over the years, his Auxell brand has carved out a reputation as the largest and most trusted home-grown sound equipment company among many stakeholders in the music community.

While dissecting the importance of quality music production, the Oraitife, Anambra State-born business mogul disclosed, “Music is a language spoken globally, our sound infiltrates the globe through telecommunication; every second different Nigerian artist’s songs are streamed worldwide. Quality production starts from the equipment used by musicians and producers, with the right tools to produce crisp and clear songs artists put out to the world I believe we will receive more international awards.”

On the challenges facing the subsector of the creative economy where he operates, he disclosed, “Owing to the fact that I source the best musical equipment from far and wide, the Auxell Musical Equipment brand pays heavy when it comes to importing duty as the dollar keeps on skyrocketing as the days go by.

“I’m of the candid opinion that lucrative business executives like myself should be entitled to subsidy in banking halls as pertaining to the dollar exchange rate as well as an increase in the limit for legitimate business owners. I am a compliment taxpayer hence I expect to feel the impact of the dues paid in respect to reduction in import duty rates.”

The music gear mogul was raised in FESTAC, Lagos. After completing his education, he proceeded to Anambra State University where he studied Medical Microbiology and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree. Subsequently, he had his compulsory National Youth Corps (NYSC) program with De Marvel Hospital, FESTAC Town, Lagos.

Chukwudebelu Elochukwu Samuel also holds other relevant qualifications including certifications, fellowships and recognitions from reputable institutions nationally and globally. In 2013, he ventured into business and found Auxell Musical Equipment having never had any prior background in music. He had a tunnel vision to raise the bar and redefine the quality of Nigerian acoustics. Auxell now cater to the robust needs of individual and corporate clients with its rich offering of musical equipment.
