NAHCON airlifts 5,307 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has so far transported 5,307 Nigerian pilgrims in 11 flights to Saudi Arabia for the forthcoming 2019 hajj exercise.
Statistics released by the Command and Control Centre of the commission yesterday further revealed that pilgrims from Kano, Kaduna, Birnin Kebbi, and Kwara had been airlifted to the holy land.
The Guardian learned that transportation is being carried out by the approved three airlines, Max Air Ltd, Medview and Flynas. An official of the commission told The Guardian that all the pilgrims are currently being accommodated in their hotels in Madina. Meanwhile, the registration for the 2019 pilgrims is expected to end today, July 15, 2019.
