Stakeholders in the Niger Delta Amnesty Delegates Network (NDADN) on Friday disclosed that it has shelved its planned protest against the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).
The position was made known in a statement by NDADN representative Alfred Mewariwei Boyed in Benin, Edo State.
Boyed said that the suspension of the protest “is due to the intervention of stakeholders in the Niger Delta.
The group appealed to “ex-agitators, who are beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme(PAP) to give the amnesty office some time to enable them to respond to their demands.”
