The Services Board of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has approved the elevation of one thousand, three hundred and ninety-two (1,392) officers across all cadres.

The Comptroller General, Muhammad Babandede, in a statement by the service’s Acting Public Relations Officer, Amos Okpu, said the exercise was sanctioned during the board’s 62nd meeting.

He urged the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture through more dedication to service and loyalty to the nation.

The promotions were effective January this year.
