INFINIX Tech Cloud Limited (ITC) and Enluka Consultancy Services, have development educational App to manage students crisis at Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN), Delta State.
Unveiling the App, at a workshop held at the institution’s campus, Ibusa, Delta State, the companies said the App would reduce students crisis without much ado at various times. The workshop theme: ‘Building A Digital Information Eco-system for Effective University Management and Public Relations’ was held in collaboration with Information, Communication and Protocol Unit, ICP, of the University.
Chief Technology Officer of ITC and Enluka, Mr. Taiwo Akinosho, stressed the need to enhance seamless communication between students and management of tertiary institutions.
He said: “We build operational applications and products for organisations. We are here to showcase student information management system.”
We realise that these are some of the things we don’t take very critically in this environment.
“We realise that when you go to foreign schools, students being able to communicate seamlessly with the school is critical. We want students to be able to communicate with the management and fix their problems and get results within 30 minutes or within a day.
“Now if there is no mechanism for this
to happen, you end up having a situation where there will be a break in communication, even the management won’t even know what the issues are because they are not even getting to know this”.
Vice Chancellor of ADUN, Prof. Christopher Ogbogbo described the workshop as one of its kind, thanking the organisers for the opportunity that came to the institution almost at no cost.
The VC, represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral Mohamed Abdullahi urged the participants to pay attention to every details from this workshop, noting that there is no end to learning.
Earlier, the Information/Protocol Officer of ADUN, Mr Kotor Esiri said the importance of information communication and protocol could not be over emphasized in the day to day running of the 21st century University management system.
