The Olugbodi family of Ara Kingdom in Egbedore Local Council of Osun State has announced the passing of their mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and matriarch, Mrs Grace Olabisi Olugbodi JP.

She passed away at the age of 83 on April 18, 2026, exactly a week after the burial of her husband of over 65 years, J.O. Olugbodi, on April 11, 2026.

The burial ceremony of Madam Grace Olabisi Olugbodi, fondly called Extraordinary Grace, will commence with a Service of Songs and Tributes on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Union Baptist Church, Osogbo, Osun State.

The funeral service and interment will take place at First Baptist Church, Ara Kingdom, on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, sisters, brother, nephews, nieces and other relatives.

The family expressed gratitude to God for her extraordinary grace in raising eight boys and a girl, and for being a mother, big sister and friend to many.

She exemplified the success and deep satisfaction that come from a life of hard work, fortitude and a strong mindset in facing life’s challenges.

Madam Grace was also a pillar of faith, love and grace, serving God and transforming lives through her faith in Jesus.

Her son, Dr Tunji Olugbodi, Executive Vice-Chairman, Verdant Zeal Marketing Communications Group, described her as an extraordinary blessing, now resting peacefully in the arms of her Maker, reunited with her husband.
