Man arraigned for stealing Okada spare parts
A 34-year old man, Kabiru Isyaka, was on Wednesday arraigned before a Sharia Court in Kano over alleged theft of motorcycle parts worth N800, 000.
Isyaka, who resides at Darmanawa Quarters, Kano, is being charged with theft, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The Prosecution, Insp Abdullahi Wada, told the court that the complainant, Labaran Hamza, reported the matter at the Naibawa Police Station, Kano, on Dec. 13.
Wada said that the defendant broke into the complainant’s shop at Naibawa Quarters, Kano and stole motorcycle spare parts valued N800,000.

The prosecutor listed engine block, cylinders, filters, spanners and silencer as the spare parts that were stolen by the defendant.
The Judge, Malam Umar Lawal-Abubakar, remanded the defendant in a correctional center, and adjourned the case until Jan. 15, 2025 for mention.
