The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has described the late Reverend Fola Achudume as a “true ambassador of Christ” and a force for positive change. Abiodun, represented by his Deputy, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele, spoke during Achudume’s burial ceremony at the Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC) in Abeokuta.

He described her as a beacon of hope and strength, especially to women, noting that her commitment to a better society was unwavering.

He extended his condolences to Apostle Lawrence Achudume, her widower, their family, and the entire VLBC community.

Mrs. Bamidele Abiodun, wife of the Ogun State governor, expressed deep sorrow over Reverend Achudume’s passing.

“Her influence was far-reaching, touching many lives both within and beyond the church. She was truly God’s general, and her departure leaves an irreplaceable void,” Mrs Abiodun said.

Similarly, Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, who was present at the service, reflected on Reverend Achudume’s exemplary life.

“She was an amazon who left an indelible mark on the lives of countless women and youth,” he remarked, urging her family to take comfort in her impactful life.

Delivering the sermon, Prophet Isa El-Buba, General Overseer of El Buba Outreach Ministry International, stressed the inevitability of death and the importance of living a righteous life.

He praised Reverend Achudume for her profound contributions to humanity, noting that her legacy would continue to inspire future generations.

Among those offering tributes was Mrs. Martha Emmanuel, the former First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, who described Reverend Achudume as “a God-sent woman who dedicated herself to serving others.” Reverend Funke Adejumo of Agape Christian Ministries added that Reverend Achudume had “fought the good fight of faith” and prayed for her soul to rest in peace.

Reverend Fola Achudume’s remarkable work in ministry and community outreach continues to resonate, even in her passing.
