Sanwo-Olu appoints immediate past Lagos HoS’ brother, others as permanent secretaries

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of three new permanent secretaries in the state public service. 

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of three new permanent secretaries in the state public service.

The new appointees are Mr. Abdul Rafiu Omowole Fashola, Director, Administration & Human Resources and Secretary, Staff Housing & Loans Board; Mrs. Kaphayah Olayemi Sarumi, Director, State Counsel, Lagos State Waterways Authority, and Mr. Abdul-Rasheed Abiola Muri-Okunola, Director, Administration & Human Resources and General Manager, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA), the younger brother of the immediate past Head of Service of Lagos State.

The Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro expressed confidence in the capabilities and competencies of the new appointees, just as he affirmed recognition of their diligence, commitment, intellectual capacity, and dedication to effective service delivery.

While wishing them a most rewarding and impactful tenure of Office, the Head of Service stated that the appointments shall be with effect from December 31, 2024, He also added that their deployment will be announced in due course.
