The Omniverse Africa Summit, Africa’s premier technology and innovation gathering, will hold from February 25-28, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.

Organised in partnership with the GIZ/Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) Nigeria, and the Innovation Support Network (ISN), the summit promises to be a transformative experience for thought leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa and beyond.

The DTC Nigeria is co-funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).

Co-Convener, Charles Emembolu, said: “The 2025 edition will welcome 20,000 attendees from over 20 countries, uniting key players from technology, finance, culture, government, and the private sector. The summit represents a pivotal moment for Africa’s digital and creative industries. This is where innovators, policymakers, and investors converge to unlock the true potential of Africa’s technology landscape.”

Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, said: “At NITDA, we believe that fostering a robust digital economy is key to unlocking Africa’s innovation potential. The Omniverse Africa Summit is a strategic platform that aligns with our vision to drive technological transformation, empower startups, and create opportunities for inclusive growth. We are proud to support this initiative and look forward to collaborating with stakeholders to accelerate Africa’s digital future.”

Dr. Thuweba Diwani of GIZ/ DTC) Nigeria, said: “This summit is a beacon for Africa’s digital transformation. By fostering strategic partnerships and knowledge exchange, we are setting the stage for sustainable technological and economic growth across the continent.”

The summit is designed to address critical challenges and opportunities shaping Africa’s digital future. They include: Digital Transformation Rooms – Engaging policy discussions, workshops, panel sessions, etc. on Africa’s evolving digital and creative landscape; Deal Rooms: A dynamic space for business negotiations, partnerships, and funding discussions; Gaming Centre: A showcase and tournaments of Africa’s burgeoning gaming industry, exploring its economic potential; Career Centre : Insights and mentorship on navigating industry shifts and career advancement. Music Conference:Exploring the intersection of technology, culture, and the entertainment industry.; Sages Lounge: A networking hub for industry leaders and policy influencers and Exhibition and Experience Spaces: Immersive product showcases and innovation demos.
