NITDA to grow digital economy in Kwara, says Abdulahi

The Director General and Chief Executive of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Abdulahi, has said the federal agency will continue to pursue its core values until there are significant changes in growth of the nation’s digital ecosystem.

Abdulahi, at a forum, yesterday, in Ilorin, Kwara State capital, said NITDA would not relent in its efforts to create enabling environment, and capacity building towards empowering more people in Kwara, especially the youth, to derive value from digital technology skills.

NITDA, in collaboration with the state government (Ministry of Business, Innovation and Technology), organised a stakeholders’ engagement programme, attended by 105 participants across 16 councils of the state.

Participants include Information and Communication Technology (ICT) experts, government representatives, academics, start-up ecosystems, ICT associations, technology solution providers, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and relevant stakeholders in the digital economy sector.
