Among its most impactful innovations is the NOVA Educational Platform, a groundbreaking AI-driven learning system that has transformed how students across Nigeria prepare for national examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and JAMB. NOVA has empowered tens of thousands of students—especially in underserved communities—by providing personalized learning tools, curriculum-aligned content, and offline access, significantly improving exam pass rates and advancing digital equity in the education sector.

The 2022 edition of the Nigeria Technology Awards received over 420 competitive entries from across the country, representing a wide spectrum of startups, SMEs, and established technology firms. These entries were evaluated through a rigorous two-stage process that included public voting and expert panel review. After comprehensive assessment, Ocelot Limited was selected as one of only 54 companies to be honored across various innovation categories—and was officially named the Most Enterprising Software Development Company of the Year. This distinction reflects not only the quality of their submission but also the significant national impact of their software innovations, particularly the NOVA Educational Platform.

Currently, Ocelot Limited is actively developing two major platforms with significant national impact potential: PayZeep – A financial inclusion and digital payments app aimed at enabling seamless, secure, and affordable financial services for Nigeria’s unbanked and underbanked populations. Once completed, PayZeep is expected to support microtransactions, merchant payments, mobile wallets, and utility services, positioning itself as a vital tool in driving financial access and inclusion across rural and low-income communities.

Air Peace Aviation Mobile App – A next-generation mobile application being developed for Air Peace, one of Nigeria’s largest commercial airlines. The app is designed to enhance passenger experience through streamlined booking, real-time flight updates, digital check-in, and customer service automation. Its implementation is expected to significantly improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction in Nigeria’s aviation sector.

Ocelot has also developed enterprise solutions for companies such as Lotus Beta Analytics, further cementing its role as a versatile and forward-thinking software firm capable of delivering high-impact, client-focused digital tools.
