The lawmaker representing Ogun Central Senatorial District, Shuaib Salisu, has reassured constituents he would not be far from them, promising quality representation at the legislative chamber.

Salisu made the promise, yesterday, during his victory party at Abeokuta Sports Club, where Egba sons and daughters gathered to celebrate with him.
He said he was humbled by the trust they showed in him by voting massively during the February 25, 2023 National Assembly election.

He said: “This victory is not just mine. It belongs to all of us that believe in a brighter future for Egbaland and Nigeria. Throughout my campaign, I witnessed the power of unity, hope, and the spirit of communality. We came together, transcending boundaries of our towns to shape a vision of progress and prosperity for our beloved senatorial district. I will not disappoint you.”

The lawmaker described his victory as the beginning of a new chapter in the district’s journey towards a more inclusive, compassionate and prosperous society.

He promised: “Together, we will work tirelessly to tackle challenges that lie ahead and create opportunities for all, irrespective of background or circumstances.”

Salisu added: “I want to assure you that I will be your voice in the Senate, fighting for your rights and interests, and pushing for policies that will benefit the common good. Our nation needs strong leadership, and I promise to represent your concerns, dreams and aspirations with integrity and dedication.”
