Ogun HoS lauds Abiodun for adherance to civil service rule
The Ogun State Head of Service, Tpl (Mrs.) Amope Chokor has lauded the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his timely intervention in regularising the appointment of the Permanent Secretaries, as well as the decision to absorb the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) candidates employed by the immediate past administration into the State’s Civil Service.
In a statement signed by her press officer, Mr. Passover Adeshina, Chokor said the gesture had shown that the Governor was passionate about the welfare of the people of the state, appreciating him for strict adherence to the principles and laid-down traditions of the public service in choosing the new Permanent Secretaries, which would boost the morale of the entire workforce.
Earlier, the immediate past Head of Service, Lanre Bisiriyu, gave kudos to Abiodun in doing justice to the appointments.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Olabode Ojetola, expressed gratitude to the governor for following due process, which allowed them to reach the pinnacle of their career.
