Ohanaeze commends Adamu, Kawu for appointing Umeozor as Oko poly’s registrar

Ohanaeze Ndigbo has commended the Minister for Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, and the Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State, Alhaji Kale Kawu, for the appointment of Mr. Anthony Umeozor as the substantive Registrar of the institution.

In a chat with newsmen yesterday, the National Vice President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Damian Ogene, described the appointment as a new dawn for the school, saying it has put to rest agitations rocking the institution.

He said the Minister for Education deserves commendation for what he has done, to ensure a level playing ground and due process in the appointment of the registrar.

“We commend the leadership of the new Governing Council led by Kawu for ensuring that the right thing is done. This will go a long way in putting the institution in the right direction of effective teaching, learning and research.
