Broadcast journalist, News Central Television anchor and Master of Ceremonies, Olive Emodi, has officially launched the second season of her faith-based interview series, ‘At His Right Hand’, with a star-studded preview screening held at The Segun Jade Theatre, The Jewel Aeida Events Centre, Lekki, Lagos.

The premiere brought together prominent personalities from the media, entertainment, business and faith communities to celebrate the return of the inspirational interview series, which explores themes of faith, grief, love, motherhood, mental health and personal transformation through candid conversations with influential guests.

Hosted and executive produced by Emodi, At His Right Hand is built on the belief that no matter the challenges people face, there is always room for them at God’s right hand. Since its debut, the show has recorded remarkable growth, expanding its YouTube community from about 1,400 subscribers to more than 11,000 subscribers while attracting over 500,000 organic views.

The event, hosted by Onyinyechi Aderibigbe, also coincided with Emodi’s birthday, making it a double celebration for the media personality and her production team.

One of the highlights of the evening was a fireside chat moderated by Arise News anchor Ayo Mairo-Ese. During the session, Emodi reflected on the journey from the first season to the second, discussing the realities of producing an independent interview programme while also sharing personal insights with guests.

Several personalities featured in the new season attended the premiere, including singer Johnny Drille, Ezinne Akudo-Anyaoha, Joy Ogbidi, Shawn Faqua, Lara Kayode, Igbalaniyi Omoniyi and Ajibola Oluwalola. They were joined by guests from the maiden season who returned to celebrate the show’s continued success.

Other notable guests at the event included actors Olayode Juliana and Toyosi Etim-Effiong, singer Timi Dakolo and his wife Busola Dakolo, journalist Steph Busari, Blessing Jessica Nze, Olu Salako (SLK), Joseph Onaolapo (Jay On Air), Isabella Adediji and Uvbi Balogun, among others.

The emotional high point of the evening came during the screening of an episode featuring entrepreneur Joy Ogbidi. The audience was visibly moved by her story, and Ogbidi later revealed that a conversation during the recording of At His Right Hand inspired the name of her newly launched business, J2911. She received a standing ovation and warm embraces from guests after sharing her experience.

Speaking at the event, Emodi reaffirmed the show’s message of hope and inclusion.

“Whoever you are, wherever you may be in this journey of life, come, sit. There would always be room for you, At His Right Hand,” she said.

Season 2 will feature conversations with an impressive lineup of personalities, including Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Johnny Drille, Ronke Adefalujo Daramola (Rhonkefella), Yimika Christ, Imabong Ajayi, Simi Drey, Covenant Chanan, Nelly Ejianwu, Pastor Tomi Adisa, Pastor Yomi and Dr. Ibukun Adebayo, Bunmi George and Captain Kehinde George, among others.

The new season premieres on the Olive Emodi YouTube channel on 31 July 2026, with fresh episodes scheduled for release every Friday at 1:00 p.m., promising more inspiring conversations on faith, resilience, healing and life’s defining moments.
