Olu of Warri, Obi Oputa III pledge to transform lives through developmental projects

The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, and His Imperial Majesty, Dr. Gregory Nnamdi Oputa, Obi Oputa III of Aboh Kingdom in Ndokwa East, Delta State, yesterday, reaffirmed their commitment to transforming lives through developmental projects.
Olu disclosed this after a visit to the Olu of Warri’s palace. Obi Oputa III and his council of chiefs discussed the long-standing historical ties and cooperation between both kingdoms. He said that traditional rulers play a crucial role in the daily affairs of their kingdoms, ensuring the welfare and progress of their people.
The Olu of Warri emphasised that the well-being of the people should remain the primary focus of leadership, as they deserve good governance and sustainable development. He also called for continued collaboration between the two kingdoms for the sake of posterity.
In his remarks, Obi Oputa III, of Aboh kingdom, Dr. Gregory Nnamdi Oputa, described the role played by traditional rulers as strategic in shaping the society by embarking on critical developments and also influencing the development of their kingdoms.
He maintained that as custodians of the people’s cultural heritage and examples to the people, they would not relent in leading their people in the right direction. The monarch also explained that his visit along with his council of chiefs to the Olu of Warri was to discuss ways to bring more development to their people. He commended the efforts by the Olu of Warri for the peace and development of his kingdom, applauding the reception given to him and his entourage.
