The closed-door meeting lasted about two hours as Mauzu left the villa at 4:35pm without speaking to newsmen.
After his departure, there were speculations that the President Muhammadu Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC) was trying to woo Muazu ahead of the 2019 general elections.
It was, however, learnt that the former PDP Chairman was in the villa to thank Osinbajo, who attended his (Muazu)’s daughter’s wedding in Bauchi.
Former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate in the 2019 polls, Atiku Abubakar, traditional rulers, Muazu’s political and business associates, among other important personalities from across the country, also attended the wedding.
