Osoba, Fayemi, others for Fabowale’s book launch

Former governors of Ogun and Ekiti states, Olusegun Osoba and Kayode Fayemi respectively, will, today, join in launching a book written by veteran journalist, Yinka Fabowale.

The book, A Reporter and His Beat, published by Floy Publications, is a memoir of the author’s journalism career, detailing the experiences and challenges of an African journalist rising from a cub reporter to a veteran.

While Osoba will chair the public presentation of the book at Happies Recreation, an exclusive resort in Ikeja GRA, Fayemi will be the special guest of honour.

Senior advocates, Lateef Fagbemi and Wole Olanipekun, are the Chief Presenter and Distinguished Presenter of the book.

Guests expected at the event include: former governor of Oyo State, Rashidi Ladoja; former Nigerian Ambassador to the Philippines, Dr. Yemi Farounbi; the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun; former President of the Institute of Quantity Surveyors, Mr. Olusegun Ajanlekoko; former senator for Oyo South, Kola Balogun; former Commissioner for Justice, Oyo, Mr. Adebayo Ojo; and Chairman, Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC), Mr. Abiola Olagunju.
