Deputy governor of Osun State, Gboyega Alabi, said APC would win the election while he commended the electorate for turning out en-mass to support the ruling party.

While he cast his vote at Unit 7 Ward 6 Baptists Day Sango/Irewole LGA Ikire, along with his wife, Oyefunke, the deputy governor also commended INEC and security agents for job well done.

He said the election was very peaceful.

Although he said there were little itches the situation was not alarming at all.

The turnout in Ikire axis of Osun West for the governorship election was relatively impressive while a majority of the electorate comport themselves.

Election materials as well as INEC officials came on time just as the people showed up as early as 8 am in readiness to cast their votes.

Various security agents drafted to the area also attested to the peaceful conduct of the exercise at Ward 9 Unit 3, Atile Atoto Ikire.
