Otti Consoles Labour Party Secretary Akamadu Over Mother-in-Law’s Death

Governor Alex Otti

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has commiserated with the State Secretary of the Labour Party, Mr Chuks Akamadu, over the death of his mother-in-law, Princess Margret Eyoanwan Ezeh, who died on July 24, 2026, aged 60.

Otti, in a condolence letter dated October 9, 2026, described Ezeh’s death as a rude shock that had created a huge vacuum in her family and among those who benefited from her generosity.

In the letter titled, “Transition of Princess (Deaconess) Margret Eyoanwan Ezeh, JP,” the governor paid tribute to the deceased’s exemplary character, devotion to God and contributions to the lives of others.

He described Ezeh as a devoted wife, a loving and caring mother to her children and grandchildren, and a woman of substance whose life was marked by charity, humility and strength of character.
