The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has disclosed the graduation date of the 6th Regular Course Cadets.

Police spokesman, ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the event is an important milestone that underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to excellence and professionalism.

According to him, the event is set to take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil Kano, adding that it marks a significant achievement for the cadets and the Academy.

In a recent address, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, stressed the critical importance of standardisation within the NPF, underscoring that a well-trained police force is essential for enhancing public safety, maintaining law and order, and promoting community trust in the police.

The graduating class of the 6th Regular Course Cadets has undergone comprehensive training designed to prepare them for the diverse challenges they will face as future leaders in policing.

“This rigorous curriculum includes extensive instruction in areas such as community policing, conflict resolution, ethics, human rights, criminal investigation, and advanced leadership skills.

“The IGP expresses optimism that the new graduates will serve as exemplary role models in their respective communities, exemplifying integrity, dedication, and professionalism. Their training is a testament to the ongoing reforms aimed at building a more responsive, accountable, and citizen-centric police force.

“The Inspector-General of Police therefore invites stakeholders, families, and the general public to join in celebrating the accomplishments of these cadets as they embark on their important journey to serve and protect the citizens of Nigeria,” Adejobi said.
