The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a three-man one-chance gang that specialises in duping unsuspecting passengers. The gang members were arrested by officers of the Ojodu Division, at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Omole Estate Phase 1 after their victim raised the alarm.

According to the Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the suspects – 48-year-old Abiodun Bamidele; 45-year-old Olumide Faleye, and 49-year-old Toyin Adekoya.

Were apprehended while operating with a Toyota Camry car, with registration number KSF 608 GH, from where they disguised as driver and passengers, pick up unsuspecting passengers, and start discussions about some dollars purportedly kept in the boot of the vehicle.

The state command also warned those in the habit of dumping their new babies on the road and dumpsites to desist from the habit.
The warning came after a day-old baby was found wrapped in a polythene bag in a dustbin in Ikoyi, Lagos.

“Save for quick detection, the baby would have died. The baby is doing fine. Preventing pregnancy is better than killing the baby. Infanticide is a crime.
