Police ready to rout criminals’ hideouts, says IGP

As part of renewed effort to enhance security in the country, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have restated its resolve to take the battle to bandits in their hideouts before they commit crime.

Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mohammad Adamu, who declared war against criminal activities, urged people in the South West to play their part by providing useful information on criminals’ hideouts criminals to law enforcement agents.He stressed that his men were ready for showdown against bandits adding that the objective was to flush criminals out of their hideouts in the forests or wherever they might be.

The IGP, who spoke yesterday in Osogbo, Osun State after a security meeting with stakeholders, assured residents of adequate security, adding that the police have concluded plans to raid identified bandits’ den where kidnapping activities are being planned and carried out.
