Tech leader and Founder/CEO of Blockvila Limited, Precious Wogu, has been awarded the prestigious National Leader in Blockchain Security Award at the 2022 Cyberchain Annual Gala and Award Night.

Organized by Cyberchain, the award which was held in Abuja on the 10th of November, 2022, recognizes her pioneering contributions to blockchain security.

The recognition gives credence to Wogu’s critical involvement in setting industrial standards in her capacity as the Founder of Blockvila and also on her personal front, engaging with industry stakeholders to set frameworks for secure digital transactions and pushing for policy-level interventions to protect blockchain adoption in emerging markets.

Wogu has facilitated collaborations with global blockchain consortia and participated in several international engagements focused on enhancing security protocols for decentralized system. Advocacy is her passion, as evidenced by her awareness activities on the challenges of decentralized networks, complemented with practical solutions on how to minimize the same. She is also an instructor on blockchain security for businesses and individuals. — Wogu was also influential at the Global Blockchain Security Roundtable 2022, where he shared keynotes about securing smart contracts and addressing vulnerabilities in DeFi systems.
