The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 59, has planned to host a seminar themed “Empower Your Future: Skills for Business and Career Success,” aimed at addressing rising unemployment, technological disruption and increasing demand for entrepreneurial skills.
The seminar, being organised by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department of the church and scheduled to be held on July 11, 2026, at the Region’s Headquarters, Victory Chapel, Magodo, Lagos, is designed to equip young people, entrepreneurs and professionals with practical skills for career growth, business development and leadership.
A statement by the Programme Coordinator, Pastor Kunle Eyitemi, stated that the initiative underscores the church’s commitment to raising a new generation of solution providers and transformational leaders.
“The future belongs to individuals who intentionally acquire the right skills, knowledge and mindset. Empower Your Future is more than a seminar; it is a platform designed to inspire, equip and empower participants to unlock opportunities, create value and make meaningful contributions to the society,” he said.
Also speaking, the Pastor-in-Charge of RCCG Region 59, Adewole Ajayeoba, described the seminar as a unique opportunity for people from all backgrounds and faiths to acquire practical tools for personal and professional growth.
He, therefore, encouraged undergraduates, graduates, entrepreneurs, professionals and members of the public to attend, noting that the programme combines inspiration with practical learning that participants can immediately apply in their careers and businesses.
The organisers, however, urged interested participants to register early and invite friends, colleagues and family members to attend the seminar, which promises to provide practical solutions, valuable connections and the inspiration needed to transform ambition into lasting success.
The statement added that the seminar forms part of the church’s broader commitment to empowering individuals through knowledge, entrepreneurship and leadership development, as well as targets undergraduates, graduates, entrepreneurs, professionals seeking to upskill, business owners looking to expand or diversify, and anyone seeking to remain competitive in today’s dynamic workplace.
The organisers further stated that the programme is designed to provide participants with practical knowledge, industry insights and real-world strategies needed to build sustainable careers and successful businesses, adding that participants will also gain valuable insights into entrepreneurship, employability, leadership, digital innovation, personal branding and access to funding, while also benefiting from interactive sessions, mentorship opportunities and networking with industry leaders, including Pastor Ibukun Awosika, Dr Bayo Olugbemi, Chukwudi Ubosi, Dr Temitope Olanre-Alade, Dr Kehinde Oyeleke, Afioluwa Mogaji and Morayo Afolabi-Brown, among others.
