The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has scheduled to hold the second edition of its Mega Music Festival (MMF 2.0) on June 12, 2026, at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.

The festival, themed “A New Season,” will feature a night of intense prayers, heartfelt worship, prophetic declarations, and thanksgiving to God, aimed at inspiring spiritual renewal and national transformation.

The event will also feature performances by renowned gospel ministers, including Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Yinka Alaseyori, Bidemi Olaoba, and Gospel Force.

General Overseer (GO) of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, is expected to pronounce a special blessing and prophetic declaration over Nigeria, while prayer sessions will be led by senior ministers, including Pastors J. F. Odesola and J.T. Kalejaiye.

RCCG’s Special Assistant to the General Overseer on Youth Affairs, Pastor Sola Olukoya, while addressing journalists during a media briefing yesterday, in Lagos, said that the gathering would bring together thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond to seek divine intervention and declare a new season over the nation.

Olukoya noted that the choice of the venue was symbolic, saying that Tafawa Balewa Square serves as the site where Nigeria marked its independence in 1960.

“On Democracy Day, from this same symbolic location, we will once again raise our voices before God and declare a new season for Nigeria’s economy, education, security, innovation and opportunities,” he said.

He added that a major highlight of the event would be the official launch of the RCCG Young Adult and Youth Tech Fellowship, a technology empowerment initiative being implemented by RCCG Young Adults and Youth Affairs in partnership with Reach4Christ.

The programme, he said, is aimed at training more than 100,000 young adults and youths through a four-month practical technology curriculum covering Data Analysis and Visualisation, Product Development, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Development, Digital Innovation, and other emerging technology fields.

Olukoya said the fellowship was designed to equip participants with relevant digital skills, mentorship opportunities, and access to global workforce prospects, while promoting values-based leadership and entrepreneurship.

He, however, assured the public that adequate security, crowd management, traffic control, and medical arrangements are being put in place.
