**Donates nine buses to APC youth wing

**Says patience, integrity, hard work remain, pathway to lasting success

First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Friday urged Nigerian youths to reject the temptation of seeking quick success, stressing that lasting achievements are built on patience, integrity and hard work.

She also challenged young people not to become complacent with modest accomplishments but to continually strive for excellence in every sphere of life.

Speaking while receiving the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Wing at the State House, Abuja, the First Lady said many young people are often driven by impatience and the desire for instant success, urging them instead to cultivate contentment while working diligently towards greater goals.

“God always knows our needs, and that is what many young people do not understand. They are always in a hurry,” she said.

“I am teaching you to learn contentment and not be beggarly.
“You have to have the eagle’s mentality. When the eagle sees a storm, it does not panic; it rises above it. That is what you should all do. Always chart your own path instead of desiring what someone else has.”

Senator Tinubu commended the APC youth leadership for working in unity to strengthen the party’s structures and grassroots political activities across the country.

She urged members of the youth wing to conduct themselves in ways that would bring honour and greater respect to the ruling party while effectively communicating the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration to Nigerians.

According to her, as custodians of the Renewed Hope Agenda, APC youths have a responsibility to demonstrate resilience, discipline and unwavering commitment to building a better future for the country.

“As one of the critical organs of our great party, you must continue to carry the banner of the Renewed Hope Agenda with dedication and commitment to a tomorrow built on hope,” she said.

To support the youth wing’s outreach and organisational activities, the First Lady donated nine brand-new buses to the APC National Youth Wing for use in party mobilisation, community service and other official engagements.

Responding, APC National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel, expressed appreciation for what he described as the First Lady’s generosity, saying the donation would significantly enhance the youth wing’s operational capacity ahead of future political engagements.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the youth wing to promoting the policies and programmes of President Tinubu’s administration and expanding the reach of the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.

“We are committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda. What you have done today has enhanced our capacity not only for electoral mobilisation but also to improve the lives of Nigerians,” Israel said.

He added that the youth wing would establish campaign structures in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory in preparation for future political activities.

“You have raised boys to men. Many of us came here without vehicles, but we are leaving with brand-new buses. We are deeply grateful, Ma,” he said.

The buses were presented to the APC National Youth Leader, the Deputy National Youth Leader, Jamaludeen Kabir, as well as the party’s zonal youth leaders and the Federal Capital Territory representative.
