Rotary International District 9111 is to host a Public Image Seminar with the theme, “Strengthening Rotary’s Credibility and Visibility Through Strategic Communication” on December 3 in Lagos. 

Rotary District 9111 Governor, Henry Akinyele, while making the announcement, said the programme promises to be a transformative day dedicated to enhancing how Rotary is perceived and celebrated in communities.”

Chairman, Ideas Communications Ltd., Yemi Akeju is the Chairman; Keynote Speakers are Commissioners for Information, Ogun and Lagos states, Mr Kayode Akinmade and Mr Gbenga Omotoso. 

The Theme Speakers include: Group Head Corporate Affairs Sifax Group, Mr. Muyiwa Akande, who would speak on Using Public Relations Strategy in telling Rotary’s story with impact; veteran broadcaster, Mrs Bimbo Oloyede is on Telling Rotary’s story with credibility.

Publisher, Marketing Edge is to speak on Strategic media engagement and Rotary’s brand; District Governor- nominee, Samuel Ayetutu will address Brand Centre and Rotary logo; while the Chief Executive Ritemate Technology Ltd., Jide Ogunleye, would talk on Using Social media to amplify Rotary’s positive stories. 

The Special Guests Of Honour are President Rotary Club of Ewutuntun and Chairman Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Stephen Olukayode Ogundipe; and the Group Chief Executive of Widescope Intl Logistics Ltd, Dr Segun Musa. 

Chairman Public Image Committee, Otun Olalekan, revealed that “ Rotarians, Clubs’ Public Image Chairmen, PR experts, advertising and marketing communications practitioners are expected to attend the seminar.”
