To commemorate its 10th anniversary, TF Communications held a national conference in Lagos, on Tuesday, aside other activities, which included the recognition of some Nigerians and organisations.

Among those recognised at the event, which had the theme, ‘Jumpstarting the Renewed Hope Agenda From 2024: The First Three Priorities,’ was the Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, who was named TF Communications’ Personality Of The Decade.

Some organisations also celebrated at the event included the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), FAE limited and Spectra Industries limited, among others.

Justifying the award to the governor, the Chief Executive of TFC, Babatola Adeyemi, emphasised that it was a well-deserved recognition for Soludo. He described him as a man of integrity who would always stand by his convictions regardless of any opposition to the contrary.

The letter announcing the Governor’s choice for the award stated inter-alia: “Your choice was informed by your assessed honesty, demonstrated sincerity of purpose in public office and your frank and dispassionate disposition to national issues.

“Your policies while you were the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria were brilliant, even as some of them were daring. However, what none could fault was the fair assessment by stakeholders that you repositioned the Apex Bank through strategic policies and restructuring which not only transformed the Bank, but also translated into unprecedented stability “
