The Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abubakar Suleiman, has said the achievements of Governor Bala Mohammed have already campaigned for his re-election in 2023, thus, with or without going out for electioneering, his opponents stand no chance.

Suleiman, who lauded the governor’s projects and developmental milestones in Ningi and Warji local councils and all parts of the state, said “whether the governor visits the area for campaign or not,” the people would vote for him because his projects have already campaigned for him.

According to him, no governor has ever gone round the state dishing out resources to citizens for self-reliance like Mohammed.

Also, a coalition of minority ethnic groups in the state across the 20 local councils has unanimously endorsed the governor for a second term.

The minority ethnic groups also endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, describing him as the most qualified of the candidates vying for the position to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Leader of the group, Samuel Haruna, told journalists yesterday that the minority ethnic groups met recently and unanimously endorsed Mohammed and Atiku.

He said: “We are about three million people and our membership cuts across every strata of society – leaders of thought, captains of industry, academia, entrepreneurs and youths – with notable personalities.”
