The chief executive officer of one of the most popular blogs in Nigeria, Naijaeverything, Osinuga Oriola Sakiru, has revealed how it started for him and how he successfully built one of the biggest brands in the blogging industry today.

While speaking to the press while attending an event in Lagos, said it all started like a joke. The Ijebu Ode born internet wizard, who was born on the 27th of September 1996, studied Computer Science (Ed) from the University of Ilorin.

He, however, noted that he started while growing up he quickly got fascinated with the computer and he started learning how to work on the it when he was small. “Growing up, I was very familiar with the internet, so I didn’t waste the chance, I learnt web designing (HTML) on a website (W3schools).

“So, as at late 2013 I just finished my WASSCE, and I immediately ventured into web development. Months later while surfing the internet, I stumbled on an easy way to create websites. I did one for myself and named it “NAIJAEVERYTHING”, as at then, websites were in vogue and not social media.

“I started working on the website by posting articles and some interesting stories, then I fell in love with blogging. But when website was becoming obsolete, I quickly foresaw the future and switched to instagram in early 2015 and that’s how the story of becoming one of the top bloggers in Nigeria started.
