Ten APC governors meet Buhari in Daura

Ten governors elected on the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) are currently having a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at his private residence in Daura, Katsina State.

The governors were led by the chairman of the Progressives Governor’s Forum, Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi state, along with the host governor, Aminu Masari.

Rest are Governor Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano); Governor Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi); Governor Abubakar Bello (Niger); Governor Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa); Governor Hope Uzodinma (lmo); Governor Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti); Governor Simon Lalong (Plateau) and Governor Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna).

The governors drove into the president’s residence at about 1:10 pm, and the meeting commenced shortly after.

The meeting, however, ended at about 1:55 pm with the Governors seen having lunch and expected to disclose the reason for their visit public.
