The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) will be rounding off its week-long Kingdom Life Conference holding at its headquarters in Gbagada, Lagos State, with a closing service tomorrow.

The conference, which kicked off on Sunday, November 21, is the climax of activities lined up to mark the church’s 40 years anniversary celebration, and was graced by many great men of God from within and outside the country.

The General Overseer of the church, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, who spoke with The Guardian during the preparations for the conference, had explained that the church had been impacting the society in different ways as part of its 40th anniversary celebration.

“The church was inaugurated on January 4, 1981. So, we decided that throughout this year, we would create awareness and make impact. One of the instructions I gave to all our churches is that wherever they are located, they should be involved in Christian social responsibility. So, many have been able to impact their different areas of operation; they have assisted their communities in different areas. And it will be climaxing during the Kingdom Life Conference,” he said.
