Two judges, auditors abducted in Kogi

There was tension yesterday in Kogi State, as gunmen reportedly abducted ‎two judges and auditors who were on their way to Idah for official assignments.

There was tension yesterday in Kogi State, as gunmen reportedly abducted ‎two judges and auditors who were on their way to Idah for official assignments.

According to an eyewitness account,‎ the judges and auditors were abducted at different locations in the state.

The judges, whose names were given as Aliu Okeme and Timothy Ali, were abducted together leaving their aids behind along Ajegu-Idah road.

Okeme and his colleague were abducted at Ojuocha in Ofu local council area while going on land inspection. Ali was abducted on his way to the court in Ayingba in Dekina Local Council area of the state.

On the other hand, the auditors, who were on their way to Idah for official assignment were abducted at another location along the Ajegwu-Idah.
