
Two people sustained injuries in an accident that occurred in front of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) headquarters in Lagos on Wednesday morning, The Guardian can report.
This accident resulted from a commercial bus developing a brake failure on the Oshodi Oke axis of the Apapa Oshodi Expressway.
The agency revealed the details of the accident on its page on X on Wednesday.
“We just recorded an unfortunate incident Infront of LASTMA HQ inward Oshodi Oke on Apapa Oshodi Exp way.

“A commercial bus had a brake failure and rammed into the Culvert. There are 2 victims on ground who are about to be taken to the nearby hospital,” noted LASTMA.
It also added that its officials were at the scene of the accident to ease the traffic caused by the accident.
“Our officials are also at the location to maintain sanity and ease the traffic backlog.”
The agency announced at 11:02 am that the bus had been taken away from the road.
“The affected vehicle is now off the road.”
